I’m Dr Christine Plastow. I’m a classicist, and my primary research interest is the forensic oratory of Classical Athens. I also work on Athenian rhetoric and law more generally, as well as maintaining an interest in classical reception and public engagement. I’m a Lecturer in Classical Studies at the Open University, UK, where I teach Greek and Latin language and literature and the cultural history of the ancient world to undergraduates and postgraduates.
On my blog, you’ll find recent reviews and publication news, as well as ongoing research and personal reflections.
